The Capture Manager will play a critical role in identifying and securing new business opportunities that align with our organization’s strengths in information technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT project management, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to build strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

·       Opportunity Identification: Research and identify potential business opportunities in the public sector that align with our IT capabilities and strategic goals.

·       Gap Analysis: Perform comprehensive gap analysis to determine areas where our organization may need additional expertise or resources.

·       Collaborative Partnerships: Identify and engage with potential partners who can fill identified gaps, ensuring a robust and comprehensive proposal offering.

·       Proposal Development: Work closely with proposal writers to provide relevant information and insights, ensuring that proposals are compelling and competitive.

·       Agency Engagement: Prepare targeted questions to solicit critical information from sourcing agencies, ensuring a thorough understanding of requirements and expectations.

·       Market Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform business development strategies.

·       Stakeholder Collaboration: Foster strong relationships with internal teams and external partners to support successful business pursuits.

·       Reporting: Track and report on business development activities, providing regular updates to senior management.

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Business Information System, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Required Qualifications​

·       A minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, capture management, or a related role.

·       Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

·       Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

·       Proficiency in using proposal management software and tools.

Preferred Skills

·       Experience with IT projects related to the modernization of legacy systems and technical support services.

·       Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT project management.

·       Ability to create visually appealing and persuasive proposal documents.
