1      Proposal Writer:

The Proposal Writer is an experienced professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in crafting compelling proposals for federal, state, and county information technology projects. This individual will play a pivotal role in our company's business development efforts by securing new contracts and opportunities through well-written, persuasive proposal

Responsibilities

·       Develop and write high-quality proposals for federal, state, and county IT projects, ranging from the modernization of legacy software to staffing and technical helpdesk support.

·       Conduct thorough research and gather necessary information to understand the client's needs, objectives, and requirements.

·       Perform gap analysis to identify and address any discrepancies between current capabilities and project requirements.

·       Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical experts, project managers, and subject matter experts, to gather relevant input and insights for proposal development.

·       Ensure that all proposals are compliant with RFP (Request for Proposal) guidelines, government regulations, and company standards.

·       Develop proposal templates and maintain a library of reusable content for future proposals.

·       Review and edit proposal content for clarity, coherence, and consistency.

·       Manage proposal timelines and ensure timely submission of all deliverables.

·       Participate in post-proposal debriefs and incorporate feedback to improve future proposals.

·        Deep understanding of Cloud Infrastructures and services, SaaS, PaaS, and other relevant concepts in compliance and cybersecurity is must.

Qualifications

·       A minimum of 5 years of experience in writing proposals for federal, state, and county IT projects.

·       Proven track record of successful proposal wins.

·       Strong understanding of the government procurement process and RFP requirements.

·       Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

·       Ability to perform gap analysis and develop strategies to address identified gaps.

·       Excellent research and analytical skills.

·       Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

·       Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.

·       Proficiency in using proposal management software and tools.

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Business Information System, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Preferred Skills

·       Experience with IT projects related to modernization of legacy systems and technical support services.

·       Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in IT project management.

·       Ability to create visually appealing and persuasive proposal documents.
